Late Jurassic–Cenozoic reconstructions of the Indonesian region and the Indian Ocean
Tectonophysics, 2012, Volume 570–571, Pages 1–41
Continental blocks rifted from Australia from Late Jurassic collided with SE Asia in Cretaceous. Banda block is SW Borneo and Argo is East Java–West Sulawesi: no West Burma block. Collisions 110–90 Ma then subduction beneath Sundaland ceased until 45 Ma. India and Australia separated by transform from 90–75 Ma which was slightly convergent 75–55 Ma. Subduction resumed 45 Ma as Australia moved north. No ridge subducted beneath Sumatra and Java
